oh god...

Yesterday we had 42°C in Vienna. Sounds nice, doesn't it?

Well... not so much! I was packing stuff, throwing out stuff, cleaning kitchen and bath... Still, by the end of the day, nothing much changed ;___; There is so much more left to do.

I thought, I show you what I'm dealing with and I really needed to share my agony. Thanks for listening and commenting and I promise, I'm back with some Lolita-related topics soon!

Personal Stuff

Hey guys,

sorry for not posting in a very long time. As you may know by now, I'm moving. For the last 12 month I lived in Vienna, all by myself in a very nice flat. But it's getting too expensive and I don't feel very comfortable in this apartment any longer. I mean, I love the neighbourhood and that it's so quiet. But I've seen my renter naked several times and his wife is a bit bitchy. So, that's why I'm moving back to my Moms place. That's stressful and I don't have time to wear Lolita or do something Lolita-related.

Just in case you wondered, that's the reason why I'm not posting at the moment. However, I started a new blog about make-up. Make-up is easy and blogging about it doesn't take much time. Also, I can work on my editing skills, which are still close to non-existent :D If you want to follow "Make-up For Noobs" click right here.

Talking about editing skills. I put together a video about my Lolita outfits in the last one and a half years. I want to believe it's an "inspiration" for all the new Lolitas, who have trouble finding their way into the fashion, but it's just one big ego trip X'D *just kidding* I hope this inspires at least one Lolita-newbie to keep on rocking this look.

Oh and I got a Valentine:

(OP, you know you allways give yourself away with your editing skills ^^)

Do you know what a "Purikura" is?

Well, like our favourite fashion Lolita it comes from Japan ^^ It's basically a photo booth where you can posh the pictures up with cute effects. There are 2 pages (that I know of) where you can do that online:

- Puricute
- Purikura Online

The pictures sometimes scare me because what Japanese people consider "kawaii" is what I find alien-like... I mean, the enlarge your eyes and brighten up your face until you have no longer a nose. Doesn't that sound alien-like? XD

Anyhow, I'm working on my Photoshop-skills (because I don't have any!) and today I tried something purikura-like.

If you want this template (without the picture in the background and the "Test!"), you can download it here! The template looks like this.

Now you only have to open it with an image processing application and insert any picture you like in the background. Write a nice thing on the polaroid-part and your done! Enjoy!

PS: Do you need a tutorial on how to insert the picture in the background? I'm not good at all this editing stuff and only using GIMP but I could show you how I did this.

How am I supposed to blog...?

How am I supposed to blog without my cam?

I somehow lost the battery charger for my cam. I couldn't find it in my flat and now that I'm back at my Moms place, I can't find it either. I didn't know I was so dependent on my cam but I can't hardly blog without pictures, I can't upload pictures on, I can't film tutorials... THAT SUCKS!

And, to top it off, my little brother can't find his cam battery charger too! What the hell? Are you kidding me? What is going on here?

Anyhow, I'm going back to Vienna this weekend. Hopefully I will find the charger then. I will have to clean out my flat anyway because I'm moving, so at some point I just have to find it! Until then... I'm sorry, I don't know what to do :(

rotten/broken (Vampire)Doll

A week without a post... I'm sorry. You are use to almost daily updates but at the moment I'm so stressed and I can't find my cam-charger,that's why I can't take pictures and... well... I could describe the outfits I'm wearing but that would be pretty lame!

Anyhow, I'm working on a new project. In one month the Aninite takes place. I don't know if it's the biggest Japan convention in Austria but it's pretty big (for Austrian standards, you can't compare it with German conventions). It's going to be the first time that I'm only a visitor and not an exhibitor. Sounds stress-free... I like that!

I want to wear a very special Outfit. My inspiration this time will be Claudia from the movie "Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles".

If you don't know the movie, you should watch it. It's really awesome! Much better than all the vampire movies/series right know. (I know it's originally a book but I don't like Anne Rice.)

Claudia is a 12 year old girl and the vampire Louis' turns her because otherwise she would die. Her parents are already dead. The plague was the cause of death. Lestat, the vampire who turned Louis' and who lives with him, treats Claudia like a little doll. He dresses her and manipulates her hair. Claudia, doomed to be an 12 year old girl for the rest of her live, falls in love with Louis' and gets depressed over the fact that Louis' will always see the girl in her and not the woman she wants to be.

In the movie Lestat kinda dies and also Claudia dies (It's so sad! She turn her nanny so that Louis' has a female companion and then the nanny and Claudia are under sentence of death.).

I want to take it further! I want to be like Claudia, after Lestat tortures her (mental torture and not like whipping and such) for such a long time that she looses her mind over it. I want an evil Claudia with a rotten mind!

Now to the outfit. I will wear my Candy Treat JSK:

This time I will combine it with a red blouse, red and white socks and red shoes. I'm not sure jet if I want to wear my pink wig or not but I do want to carry a human heart with me (not a real one XD) in a glass jar. I will sew a harness for the glass jar so I can wear it as a shoulder bag *_____* (I shouldn't get so excited over body parts in a jar ^^)

That is my first make-up attempt... somehow uploading the picture to my blog made the colors disappear -.- I tried a pink and red eye make-up and used black lipstick for the inside of my lips (to give it a "rotten" effect... somehow...). It didn't turn out the way I wanted it. It's a good start but I have to work more on the details!

If anybody has a tip how to apply black lipstick on the inside of your lips without getting it all over your lips, that would be awesome! ^^

Do you like the idea? Do you hate it? Tell me your opinions in the comments below!
